If you think you are an innovative, self-motivated team-player, and want to shape your community, join our WGI team today!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WGI offers a complete Benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD & STD, Life Insurance, 401k with match, PTO, Holidays, HSA with company contribution, Pet insurance, and Employee assistance program.</strong></p>\n<p>#LI-onsite</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and execute advanced GIS analysis and geospatial production workflows using a methodological, standards‑based approach.</li>\n <li>Design, maintain, and manage enterprise geodatabases, spatial data models, and schemas to support multi‑user environments.</li>\n <li>Integrate and analyze LiDAR‑derived datasets (classified point clouds, DEMs, contours, and derivatives) within GIS environments.</li>\n <li>Serve as a technical specialist, providing guidance on GIS standards, data governance, metadata, and product generation.</li>\n <li>Develop, document, and improve GIS workflows, QA/QC procedures, and best practices to support consistent, high‑quality deliverables.</li>\n <li>Perform QA/QC reviews of GIS and LiDAR‑supported products, including accuracy assessments and reporting.</li>\n <li>Support web‑based GIS platforms by configuring and maintaining maps, applications, and dashboards.</li>\n <li>Utilize scripting, modeling, or automation tools to improve efficiency, repeatability, and scalability of GIS processes.</li>\n <li>Mentor and provide technical leadership to GIS Analysts and Technicians, including training and workflow support.</li>\n <li>Participate in project planning, technical estimating, and coordination with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.</li>\n <li>Adhere to safety, quality, and information security policies.</li>\n <li>Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative geospatial team.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred</li>\n <li>GIS Professional (GISP) certification is preferred</li>\n <li>5–10+ years of progressively responsible experience in GIS analysis, geospatial systems, or related disciplines.</li>\n <li>Advanced experience with ESRI software, including ArcGIS Pro and enterprise or web‑based GIS environments.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience integrating LiDAR and remote sensing datasets into GIS workflows.</li>\n <li>Experience developing and managing geodatabases, spatial data standards, and metadata (FGDC/ISO).</li>\n <li>Proficiency with geospatial automation tools such as Python (ArcPy), ModelBuilder, or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Experience with geospatial production tools (e.g., GeoCue, TerraScan, LP360, LAStools) is preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to serve as a senior technical resource and mentor within a team environment.</li>\n <li>Strong written and oral communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
