    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Tacten is currently seeking an Equipment Coordinator to support operations in Richmond, BC.If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Location:</strong> Richmond, BC</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday - Friday - 40 hrs./week, with potential for overtime</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Rate:</strong> Up to $31.00/hour., depending on experience and skill-set.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Requirements: </strong>Candidates must be local to the area of Richmond, BC</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>1. Asset Management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Implementing equipment management processes and policies across Rockwood companies</li>\n <li>Ensuring global adoption of asset tracking software across all Rockwood companies and divisions</li>\n <li>Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining accurate data in asset tracking software and facilitating equipment transfers as required</li>\n <li>Support the reduction of annual equipment repair costs by monitoring equipment condition and maintenance frequency</li>\n <li>Supporting operations during “peak season” by assisting with equipment ordering, tool crib stocking / organization, and personnel coverage as needed</li>\n <li>Organize and execute rope access equipment inspections (gear pull) as required on run and maintain sites</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>2. Small Tool, PPE and Consumable Management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Implementation of consumable tracking through Pangea across all Rockwood companies</li>\n <li>Ensure we are purchasing all supplies and consumables through incumbent vendors</li>\n <li>Monitor shutdown equipment lists and purchases to ensure proper volumes and part numbers are being ordered</li>\n <li>Implementation of barcode scanning, and vendor provided vending machines where applicable</li>\n <li>Ensure goods are properly stored in secure location</li>\n <li>Manage NDT consignment inventory and billing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>3. Training existing and new personnel on:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Equipment management processes and procedures</li>\n <li>Asset management software</li>\n <li>Equipment calibration and inspections</li>\n <li>Safety and Quality policies</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Secondary school diploma complemented by a minimum of 5 years’ industry related experience focused on equipment and warehouse management</li>\n <li>Acuren’s range of technical services and variety of service lines provided in order to appropriately support the daily operations of the facilities and staff in the areas of Toolcrib, fleet maintenance, shipping, and procurement</li>\n <li>Knowledge of equipment used to perform various integrated industrial services, specific tests and/or inspections</li>\n <li>Experience with asset management and tracking software</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
