We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll be challenged to do:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an <strong>Office Engineer</strong>, you will play a key role in construction inspection services for culvert rehabilitation and replacement projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience managing federally and state-funded projects while collaborating with experienced engineers to develop expertise in highway construction inspection. This work is essential to the community, helping to prevent flooding, reduce erosion, protect local ecosystems, and ensure roadways remain open and resilient during extreme weather.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In the capacity, you will be responsible for the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain construction project records.</li>\n <li>Interface with the Resident Engineer and senior inspection staff on contract change orders, item payments, and material testing.</li>\n <li>Attend project meetings and assist in preparing meeting reports.</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of monthly progress reports and maintain project logs.</li>\n <li>Review daily inspection reports and quantity computations.</li>\n <li>Assist in determining schedule and budget requirements.</li>\n <li>Assign tasks and coordinate work with entry-level engineers, technicians, or administrative staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<h3><strong>What you will bring to our firm:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Nicet III or one of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field </li>\n   <li>Equivalent agency-approved experience</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>5+ years of related experience, previous experience as an Office Engineer</li>\n <li>Experience with Construction Management, Scheduling, and Document Management software(s) </li>\n <li>Proficient in SiteManager, CEES, and/or other client-based systems</li>\n <li>Experience managing submittals, RFIs, correspondence logs, daily reporting, and change orders</li>\n <li>Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).</li>\n <li>OSHA Safety Training.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3>\n<p>The salary range for this role is <strong>$100,000 - $170,000 per year</strong>.
