Ameliorate oneself in educational and technological ability relative to present technology and future enhancement of MRI.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule</p>\n<p>Full Time, Monday-Thursday</p>\n<p>6:30PM-7:00AM</p>\n<p>$20,000 Sign-on Bonus! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To review Memorial's Benefits click here: Benefits - Memorial HR</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous MRI pertinent physics course work preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ARRT registered in either Radiography or Magnetic Resonance Imaging or registry eligible. If not otherwise specified by the professional licensing body, the maximum allowable time to practice in a “registration pending” status is three months.</li>\n <li>If not ARRT registered in MRI, must become ARRT MRI registered within 24 months of accepting the position.</li>\n <li>Maintain BLS CPR Certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) years experience as a technologist with documented skill advancement in the workplace preferred.</li>\n <li>Operational background and / or experience with microcomputer preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills required.</li>\n <li>Adaptability to ongoing technologist changes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Perform a variety of MRI procedures on outpatients of all ages, according to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Perform a variety of MRI procedures on inpatients (General, IMC and ICU) of all ages, according to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Perform a variety of Neuro specific MRI procedures in support of Comprehensive Stroke Designation.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Remain current with departmental protocol changes. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, Physicians and fellow employees. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain skills in performing emergency and routine patient care as required.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Administer agents / pharmaceuticals under the supervision of the Radiologist. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Utilize proper infection control practices per the department procedure manual. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Ensure adequate levels of inventory. Monitor the condition of equipment and supplies to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the department; report problems to proper authority.  Review and recommend equipment / supply purchases.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Ensure the integrity of, proper recording and transmission of patient information.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Ensure the safety of patients, visitors and employees.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Participate in flexible work hours that coincide with workload demands, overtime required when necessary. Assume MRI call.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain current credentials as required by MMC. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Participate in continuing education and maintain knowledge of current and new MRI technology. Complete 12 CE hours per year in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Acquire and maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in MRI.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Assist with the instruction of radiography students.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Performs other related work as required or requested.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
