    "description": "<p>Commercial Fire Protection/Fire Detection is seeking an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter in Seattle, WA area</span>. There's never been a more exciting time to join our team! We are in an accelerated growth phase in a rapidly expanding industry and are seeking motivated, self-driven individuals looking for a long-term position in the fire protection industry. As a Sprinkler Fitter, your responsibilities are to inspect, repair and service commercial and residential sprinkler systems. This, along with installs/tenant improvement will be done safely, efficiently and accurately according to blueprint specifications, building codes and the Company’s commitment to quality.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Service and repair commercial sprinkler systems</li>\n<li>Installation of new system, retrofits, tenant improvements and residential dwellings</li>\n<li>Reporting and reading plans</li>\n<li>Installation of dry-pipe and pre-action systems installation of underground fire lines and related apparatuses</li>\n<li>Run new projects and complete system on time and correctly</li>\n<li>Knowledgeable of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, &amp; 25</li>\n<li>Knowledgeable in the installation of Steel pipe, CPVC, Copper, C-900 &amp; ductile iron piping</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Skills/Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install Sprinkler mains and line piping using a variety of materials (Sch. 40 &amp; Sch. 10 black and or galvanized pipe and fittings, CPVC pipe and fittings) per blueprint specifications</li>\n<li>Install a variety of Sprinkler Systems (Wet, Dry, Deluge, Pre-action, Fire Pumps) per blueprints, specifications and building codes</li>\n<li>Install valves, devices and trim for system risers, alarm valves, dry pipe valves, Pre-action valves, and Backflow Prevention devices</li>\n<li>Installs sprinkler heads for a wide range of applications per blueprint and knowledge of applicable sprinkler codes</li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of Pipe Threaders, Groovers, hand and power tools</li>\n<li>Be knowledgeable and adhere to all OSHA and CFP’s Safety Standards </li>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.</li>\n<li>Ability to solve problems using NFPA code</li>\n<li>Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.</li>\n<li>Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements</li>\n<li>Demonstrate a high level of customer service, strong organization skills, and positive attitude</li>\n<li>Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times</li>\n<li>Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements</li>\n<li>Pass a pre-employment background check</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n<li>Must have WSP Fire Sprinkler Fitters Card</li>\n<li>Recommended to have the Seattle AS-3 sprinkler certification (if not we can help them obtain)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits: </p>\n<p>Commercial Fire Protection is pleased to offer a competitive compensation package which includes: Competitive hourly rate, medical and dental 100% paid by the Company, vision,401k, life insurance, pet insurance, paid time off and holidays, supportive team environment, mobile device, company vehicle, tuition reimbursement, and career advancement opportunities.</p>",
