    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong> The Machine Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, fabrication and installation of all types of CNC machines and machining production equipment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions;</li><li>Diagnoses electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and thermal machinery problems;</li><li>Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area;</li><li>Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems;</li><li>Removes and replaces worn or defective parts and realigns and adjusts components of machines;</li><li>Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair;</li><li>Procures repair parts and maintains inventory levels according to machinery breakdown histories;</li><li>Repairs broken parts and performs all repairs in an efficient, safe and timely manner according to company policies;</li><li>Sets priorities and schedules machine repairs and maintenance according to production/customer demands;</li><li>Documents repair/preventative maintenance history via ManagerPlus software and database;</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor;</li><li>Adhere to Employee&rsquo;s responsibilities outlined in Cygnus&rsquo; Health &amp; Safety Policy.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Skills &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent;</li><li>Associate Degree in EET or MET AND/OR minimum 5 years relevant experience preferred;</li><li>Possess proficiency with all diagnostic equipment, blueprint reading, electrical/electronic schematic interpretation, and pneumatic and thermal diagram understand;</li><li>Must possess computer operation and troubleshooting skills;</li><li>CNC and G code knowledge preferred;</li><li>Good communication and organization skills;</li><li>Ability to work well with others;</li><li>Must be available to work as much overtime as needed;</li><li>Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment (including hot, cold and/or noisy areas);</li><li>Frequent hand to finger, handle, feel objects &amp; tools, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking and hearing;</li><li>Physically submit to periodic drug tests (employment is contingent upon favorable results)</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
