Manager/Plant Manager</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p><p>Responsible for repairs and maintaining, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacture&rsquo;s specifications, machinery and all related equipment, such as mechanical, hydraulic, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring and testing instruments.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Assists with defining and planning projects and approaches to be investigated.</li><li>Conducts preliminary root cause investigations.</li><li>Will conduct changeovers and basic trouble shooting as directed by Supervision</li><li>Provides training and support to machine operators.</li><li>Assists in developing and maintaining and continuous improvements.</li><li>Coordinates process issues with operators, plant management, and maintenance personnel.</li><li>Supports problem solving and decision-making activities or may be chosen to lead activities.</li><li>Assists in preventive maintenance programs and routine maintenance.</li><li>Active member of program launch teams.</li><li>Sets up and programs (limited) equipment, performs capability studies, produce prototype parts.</li><li>Responsible for adherence to all company safety and housekeeping rules.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>Must have a two-year technical degree or equivalent level of knowledge/experience. &nbsp;</p><p>Requires team-oriented leadership skills and continuing education/training mechanical engineering techniques.
