    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist (PRN)</strong><strong>Location: 5155 US Hwy 98 S Suite 5C, Lakeland, FL 33812</strong><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday, PRN<strong>Pay: </strong>$47/hr</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our outpatient orthopedic center as a PRN Hand Therapist. CHT preferred, but new grads with Level II fieldwork or OTs with 1+ year of hand therapy experience are encouraged to apply. Treat a variety of upper extremity conditions. Splinting experience a plus. Work alongside skilled hand surgeons and access mentorship for CHT certification.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply today to be part of a growing national Hand Therapy program!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.</li>\n <li>Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.</li>\n <li>Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.</li>\n <li>Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.</li>\n <li>National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start. </li>\n <li>Newly licensed OT graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year current hand therapy</li>\n <li>Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.</li>\n <li>Valid state driver’s license</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Part Time/PRN Perks:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Continuing Education</strong>: Free in-person and online CEUs to keep learning</li>\n <li><strong>Career Growth</strong>: Access to a nationwide, professional support network</li>\n <li><strong>401(k)</strong>: Company matching 401(k) after 1,000 hours in a calendar year</li>\n</ul>",
