    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Balance Life &amp; Work with a New Career Opportunity</p>\n<p>Now Hiring -&nbsp;<strong>Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - Bound Brook, NJ</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>CareOne at Somerset Valley Assisted Living</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Salary Range $21.00 to $26.00 per hour</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The <strong>Certified Medication Aide (CMA)</strong> will be responsible for, but not limited to:</p>\n<ol>\n <li>Provide medication administration to residents under direction of RN.</li>\n <li>Provide patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.</li>\n <li>Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.</li>\n <li>Provide adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sits and therapeutic baths; applying restraints.</li>\n <li>Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.</li>\n <li>Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.</li>\n <li>Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.</li>\n <li>Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Serve and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and JCHAO standards.</li>\n <li>Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; maintaining licensure.</li>\n <li>Enhance nursing department and hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proper licensing in state of the job.</li>\n <li>Must be experienced in administering oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic medications and subcutaneous injections.</li>\n <li>Previous CMA experience, and must also be a Certified Nursing Assistant.</li>\n <li>Multi-tasker, able to proceed in a courteous and professional manner.</li>\n</ul>",
