Our organization helps propel us forward and achieve true mission partnership.&nbsp;</p><br><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong><br>&nbsp;<ul><li>Be able to plan, lead and perform a BOM effort from proposal kick off through supporting document submission for the cost volume.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend Proposal Kick Off Meetings.&nbsp;</li><li>Become an expert in MPP and its functionality.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend Director and/or Vice President level reviews.&nbsp;</li><li>Create and present Supply Chain Risk Summary Slides at&nbsp;Director and/or Vice President level reviews.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate an&nbsp;understanding of&nbsp;BAE Systems SMS&nbsp;proposal process&nbsp;as it relates to Bill of Material (BOM) pricing.&nbsp;</li><li>Request&nbsp;and receive quotes from&nbsp;suppliers.&nbsp;</li><li>Review all quotes entered for accuracy and validity through the requested date&nbsp;and&nbsp;populate&nbsp;the&nbsp;Pricing Software;&nbsp;Become an expert/professional in quote review/comprehension.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Review&nbsp;Bill of Materials&nbsp;top 80%&nbsp;cost drivers&nbsp;for accuracy.&nbsp;</li><li>Proactively coordinate with the proposal team&nbsp;regarding workload and deadline requests.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Manage&nbsp;excel spreadsheets&nbsp;and report to the proposal team&nbsp;through various stages of the&nbsp;quoting process.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide input, analysis, and support for annual additional quantities.&nbsp;</li><li>Supplier proposal evaluations (May include Commercial Off the Shelf Parts).&nbsp;</li><li>Assist Category Specialists in quote entry and review.&nbsp;</li><li>Review supplier pricing.</li><li>Learn and experience team interaction throughout supply chain.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in proposal process.&nbsp;</li><li>Request Pricing from Suppliers.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze previous pricing to current pricing.</li><li>Gain an understanding of price deltas from suppliers and the cost drivers of those prices.</li><li>Review and apply additional quantity percentage to part quantities based on internal&nbsp;BAE Systems SMS&nbsp;Policies.&nbsp;</li><li>Locate and review engineering drawings for identification of parts, materials and tooling needs in&nbsp;BAE Systems SMS&nbsp;Software.</li><li>Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.</li><li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.</li><li>Perform other duties as necessary.</li></ul>&nbsp;<p><strong>On-Site Work Environment: </strong>This position requires regular in-person engagement by working<strong> on-site three or more days</strong> each normally scheduled week in the primary work location.
