This role involves the use of advanced fraud detection tools and techniques to identify suspicious patterns and mitigate risks in real-time. This Fraud Management Specialist collaborates with other departments to implement effective fraud prevention strategies and to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, this position provides in-person, phone or online support to members reporting fraudulent transactions, taking ownership of a fraud case to create a satisfactory member experience.</p><p><u>Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:</u></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li><p>Prepare and work assigned fraud cases to ensure case materials support resolution and member reimbursement actions, as warranted.</p></li><li><p>Perform analytical reviews of financial transactions deemed at risk; identify point(s) of compromise and initiate fraud case as appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with other business units to identify opportunities for enhanced fraud controls across delivery channels (in-branch, ATM, online banking, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Monitor and triage daily fraud alerts and help desks.</p></li><li><p>Work with law enforcement and other agencies as assigned.</p></li><li><p>Prepare statistical reports and tracks fraud analytics.</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as required.</p></li></ul><p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p><p>Experience: Two or more years of experience in fraud detection or financial services.</p><p>Education: Bachelor&#39;s degree in finance, business administration, criminal justice, or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p>Personal Skills: Strong analytical, investigative, and critical thing skills. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
