    "description": "<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p>Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Neuropsychologist’s role is to provide counseling and psychological assessments, evaluations, and services to patient(s), family, and treatment team. Participates in the interdisciplinary team process and provides cognitive and neuropsychological feedback and input. Takes an active part in various activities including community reintegration.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>· Performs periodic formal assessments and evaluations, assessing needs of patients and setting</p>\n<p>measurable objectives in conjunction with the treatment team. Provides feedback/input to the</p>\n<p>patient, family and treatment team regarding cognitive/neuropsychological rehabilitation issues,</p>\n<p>test results and their practical application.</p>\n<p>· Provides counseling/psychotherapy and education to the patient and family regarding the adjustment process and programmatic outcome. If applicable for program, leads groups in accordance with appropriate group dynamics.</p>\n<p>· Designs community reintegration activities to assist the patient with their psychological/cognitive needs during physical activity and assists the patient in understanding their needs and limitations and how to manage them.</p>\n<p>· Provides documentation of treatment progress and status in accordance with the Plan of Treatment and adjusts when necessary to achieve maximum results.</p>\n<p>· Reports progress to the rehabilitation staff, patient/family/support system. Observes/documents and reports changes in the condition of the patient to the Clinical Coordinator/designee, attending physician and other treatment team members as appropriate.</p>\n<p>· Participates in the team process, provides input and effective treatment strategies. Attends case conference and family educational meetings.</p>\n<p>· Develops, teaches and assesses the plan of treatment. Guides and supervises the Rehabilitation Specialist/Certified Nursing Assistant in fulfillment of the plan. Uses appropriate methods and tools in all teaching and training activities, including those associated with discharge from treatment</p>\n<p>· Adheres to standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, policies, HIPAA and Corporate Compliance programs and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal laws.</p>\n<p>· Performs other duties as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>· PhD or PsyD in Psychology or in an accredited training program in Neuropsychology.</p>\n<p>· Maintains professional Psychology license and/or certification as required by the state in which the psychologist practices.</p>\n<p>· Minimum of two years post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology plus</p>\n<p>· Minimum of three years clinical experience in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions is generally required.</p>\n<p>· Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques are generally required.</p>\n<p>· Current BLS (Basic Life Support) First Aid and CPR certifications.</p>\n<p>· Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.</p>\n<p>· Able to work independently and part of a team.</p>\n<p>· Organized and able to function under minimal supervision.</p>\n<p>· Has reliable transportation and able to travel to/from multiple assignments/locations on a daily basis.</p>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
