    "description": "<p><strong><span style=\"display:block; font-size:16px\">Per Diem Position&nbsp;</span></strong><strong>GENERAL PURPOSE:</strong><br />\nProvides dental hygiene services focused on the prevention and treatment of oral disease while supporting quality patient care in a clinical setting.</p>\n\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and sealant placement</li>\n\t<li>Take dental x-rays and polish restorations</li>\n\t<li>Assess oral health and consult with the Dentist as needed</li>\n\t<li>Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation</li>\n\t<li>Follow clinical protocols, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines</li>\n\t<li>Utilize appropriate ICD diagnostic and billing codes</li>\n\t<li>Meet productivity, quality, and contractual standards</li>\n\t<li>Attend required meetings and trainings</li>\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Valid California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required</li>\n\t<li>Current CPR certification required</li>\n\t<li>Radiation certification required</li>\n\t<li>One year of experience preferred</li>\n\t<li>Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and infection control standards</li>\n\t<li>Strong communication and patient care skills</li>\n\t<li>Ability to maintain accurate records and work effectively in a team environment</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT &amp; REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push up to 100 lbs.</li>\n\t<li>Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements</li>\n\t<li>High manual dexterity and adequate vision/hearing required</li>\n\t<li>May be exposed to contagious or infectious diseases</li>\n</ul>\n",
