&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li>Possess dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work 40+ flexible schedule as required</li><li>Possess ability to read and comprehend written instruction; follow verbal directives; follow general and maintenance-specific safety procedures and guidelines</li><li>Possess functional mathematical ability including knowledge of fractions and decimals to perform basic math calculations and measurement computing using tape measure and/or micrometers</li><li>Possess functional mechanical knowledge with ability to develop good fabricating and trouble-shooting skills including pneumatic and hydraulic systems</li><li>Possess working knowledge of operational functions for general maintenance equipment including cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes, welding and cutting equipment, and hand/power tools</li><li>Possess basic computer skills</li><li>Possess a &ldquo;Team Member&rdquo; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p>ESSENTIAL &nbsp;JOB DUTIES:</p><ul><li>Conduct a safety evaluation of work area prior to performing maintenance actions.</li><li>Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, routine maintenance or preventive maintenance actions for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures. &nbsp;Maintenance actions include setup actions for product runs; troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machinery/equipment; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; providing corrective actions as required.</li><li>Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, minor/major emergency repairs as required for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures.</li><li>Perform at a training-level capacity computerized control and monitoring of mechanical equipment.</li><li>Perform housekeeping actions adhering to post maintenance/repair procedures.</li></ul><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p>OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li>Obtain estimates and order supplies and/or replacement parts as needed from outside vendors via telephone or off-site meetings; drive to pick-up supplies/parts or attend off-site meetings as required.</li><li>Travel to other plants to perform maintenance actions as required.</li><li>Maintain scheduled maintenance procedures records for building(s), grounds, machines, or equipment by completing weekly and/or monthly checklists as required by ISO regulations.</li><li>Perform any other general labor duties as directed by supervisory personnel to ensure efficient operation of facility.</li></ul><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p><ul><li>Majority of work performance is conducted in a steel manufacturing plant environment using heavy production machinery, material handling and job-specific equipment and tools. &nbsp;Plant safety and machine-specific safety procedures are strictly enforced and compliant with Federal OSHA and/or State regulations.</li><li>Safety training, written procedures, and continual improvement measures are implemented to eliminate or control any physical/environmental hazards that may be present in the workplace.</li><li>Employee use of personal protective equipment is enforced for all phases of job performance to prevent bodily injury.</li></ul><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;
