For more information, visit www.centinelamed.com.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Emergency Medical Technician is responsible for the assessment and basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and / or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>1.    Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience preferred.</p>\n<p>2.    EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic Certification required upon hire and maintain active.</p>\n<p>3.    BCLS on hire and maintain current.</p>\n<p>4.    Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 6 months of hire.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $XX.00 to $XX.00.
