Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join an established, collegial, neonatology practice serving the Salt Lake City metro area . This established practice provides coverage across a combination of Level III and Level II NICUs , offering an excellent mix of acuity, autonomy, and work–life balance.
About the Role: Support a varying level of acuity with the NICU
St. Mark’s Hospital – Salt Lake City
Level III NICU
25 NICU beds with an average daily census of 15
Provides comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns, including conventional and ECHMO, HFOV) , iNO , therapeutic hypothermia, advanced imaging, and in‑house neonatal subspecialty support
Best Hospitals for Maternity Care (Money & The Leapfrog Group)
Long‑standing Pediatrix presence with a stable, experienced team
Jordan Valley Medical Center
Level III NICU
20 NICU beds with an average daily census of 12
Only Level III NICU serving the west side of the Salt Lake Valley, with modern, private‑room NICU design and advanced monitoring and ventilatory technology
Telephonic support at the Level II West Valley campus
Lone Peak Hospital – Draper
13‑bed NICU , recently upgraded from Level II to Level III
