Description
Overview
This position supports the Finance Director for Global Operations with a focus on FP&A. Global Ops Finance, as a department, is in charge of managing the global budget and financial results for manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, facilities, quality control, and costing. We are responsible for a blend of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, ERP system configuration, internal control, and business analysis.
Responsibilities
Supporting the management report process to deliver consolidated Global Operations financial performance and related insights and analysis
Assisting Global Operations FP&A activities, rolling forward queries and reports, posting journal entries, and completing reconciliations
Assessing current financial processes and reporting to identify enhancement opportunities while embracing a continuous improvement culture
Assisting with files that support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecasting process with reporting to Corporate FP&A
Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional departments to drive financial controls and continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting capital spend tracking and forecasting with associated legal entity/company code reporting
Creating process documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in finance and accounting
Manufacturing company experience is a plus
Understanding of ERP systems, such as SAP, with strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
Position requires strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and drive to learn the business and help solve problems in a team environment
