    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>EMS has an immediate opening for a customer service oriented Straight Truck Driver to deliver aluminum extrusions on a 26&rsquo; Non-CDL Straight Truck to area customers. A commercial driver&rsquo;s license is not required.</p><p>This is a full time position delivering in a &ldquo;local&rdquo; radius and home each night.</p><p>Compensation includes a competitive Hourly Pay Rate, Overtime and Monthly Safety Bonus.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate a 26&rsquo; Straight Truck (Non-CDL)</li><li>Operate vehicle in compliance with all local, state, federal and company rules and in accordance with generally accepted practices of safe driving.</li><li>Safely load and unload cargo as required</li><li>Maintain ELD logbook in accordance with DOT regulations</li><li>Complete vehicle inspection reports</li><li>Review shipping papers for nature of load and special handling requirements as necessary</li><li>Check load on trailer to determine if it is properly secured and safe</li><li>Wear safety equipment when handling material</li><li>Maintain the truck in a clean, safe and positive work environment.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Clean MVR with no more than one major violation within the past 5 years</li><li>Lift and carry heavy material up to 75 lbs.; climb on and off a flat bed</li><li>Be able to read, write and communicate in English effectively.</li><li>Perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.</li><li>Read a tape measure.</li><li>Be able to stand for extensive periods of time.</li><li>Be able to bend over, reach upwards or outwards, twist, turn around and climb up and down.</li></ul><p><strong>EMS Offers:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>PPO Life, Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Available</li><li>Paid Time Off!</li><li>Company matched 401K Plan</li><li>Company Paid Long Term Disability</li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance</li></ul><p>EMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p><p>We provide a safe working environment by offering gloves, face mask and hand sanitizer. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p></div></div>\n",
