Interface with the utility company, vendors, contractors, and consultants to oversee installations and equipment maintenance.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to drive safety in all aspects of the plant</li>\n <li>Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures</li>\n <li>High voltage power distribution up to 345kV, protective relaying, transformer and switchgear maintenance</li>\n <li>Maintain general plant power equipment</li>\n <li>Assist with planning and organizing maintenance shutdowns</li>\n <li>Assist department in safety improvements and initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong focus on safety; high level of safety awareness (LOTOTO, TCOS, etc.) and proven safety record; NFPA 70E knowledge</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Organizational, leadership, and communication skills</li>\n <li>Motivated Self-Starter, ability to prioritize multiple projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>SVC power factor compensation experience</li>\n <li>HV/MV power, Drives/Controls, Networking, HMI & PLC proficiency</li>\n <li>Electrical preventative/predictive maintenance experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
