    "description": "<p>Benchmark Therapy and Rehab, a large therapy practice in Ohio is looking for a full time and consistent PRN COTA to join our practice.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES:<span> </span></span>The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) shall be directly supervised by an OT and Therapy Coordinator. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsibilities:<br>- Assist Occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients in their home.<br>- Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.<br>- Help patients develop or regain daily living skills and functional abilities in their home setting.<br>- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions<br>- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.<br>- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises</li>\n<li>Note: License as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required for this position.</li>\n<li>Skills:<br>- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology<br>- Experience in home care setting is a plus<br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients , their caregivers and healthcare team members<br>- Ability to adapt to different patient needs and modify treatment plans accordingly based on their home environment.<br>- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during therapy sessions</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Ability to create and manage your own schedule!</p>",
