    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title</span>:</p>\n<p>Senior Electrical Engineer.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports to</span>:</p>\n<p>Engineering Manager<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Electrical engineering support for surface production systems design, testing, pre-commissioning and start up.</li>\n<li>Mentoring of junior Electrical engineers in the Electrical engineering group, capturing and dissemination of Electrical engineering knowledge.</li>\n<li>Evaluate and Optimize the power system In projects.</li>\n<li>Support the design of Electrical Power systems to meet the required Electrical System load demand by Utilizing Electrical system power tools.</li>\n<li>Check, Review and Approve Electrical Documentation in assigned Project</li>\n<li>Interface with Electrical counterpart in Contractor’s engineering team during the Engineering Phase of projects</li>\n<li>Ensure that Electrical Design is carried out in accordance with internal company and industry standards and in line with national standards, recommended International Standards and best practices.</li>\n<li>Evaluation of contractors during prequalification and technical stages of a project and selection of best technical/economical solutions and products for process systems</li>\n<li>Co-ordinate activities in the Electrical engineering group and Conduct Electrical engineering in-house reviews for projects.</li>\n<li>Promptly notify superior if a design change will lead to cost variation in a project and review requests for variation from contractor relevant to Electrical design.</li>\n<li>Make input to cost estimate for projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span></p>\n<p>Engineering Degree ( Electrical/Electronic Engineering)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Professional Qualification:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>NSE/COREN</li>\n<li>Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></p>\n<p>At least 7 years relevant and related experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required knowledge, technical or professional skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transient, Stability and Steady state motor starting studies, simulation and calculation.</li>\n<li>Short circuit current calculation, simulation studies and calculation.</li>\n<li>Electrical design philosophy and criteria.</li>\n<li>Cable sizing criteria and calculation.</li>\n<li>Plant sizing design and calculation.</li>\n<li>Onshore field construction.</li>\n<li>Expertise in all aspects of process plant, instrument, control and ESD systems and software.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of installation and commissioning</li>\n<li>Ability to specify key technical studies.</li>\n<li>Control and management of design change.</li>\n<li>Onshore field construction</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required personal capabilities:</span></p>\n<p>Problem Solving</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical Ability, Technical Ability (as above), Decision Making, Organizational, Motivation to Learn.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Achieving Results</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiative, Conscientiousness, Resilience, Adaptability, Drive.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Relationships</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication, Managing Others, Team Work, Organizational Sensitivity</li>\n</ul>",
