    "description_html": "<p>The position is responsible for overseeing all DOT, and Health &amp; Safety compliance for Federal, State and Local regulations.</p><ul><li>Lead and oversee all aspects of development, implementation, and management of the Company’s DOT Trucking Compliance Programs, including CMV Files, DOT Driver Qualification Files, Vehicle Inspections, Hours of Service, etc.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and OSHA</li><li>Works with various department heads to ensure work procedures and policies are followed to maintain a safe working environment</li><li>Keep abreast of any changes in the laws surrounding the industry</li><li>Works HR and Dispatchers and provides input in yearly Driver Evaluations (in all markets)</li><li>Works with dispatch on hiring and termination of drivers</li><li>Works with driver trainers to assure proper training is being taught</li><li>Assist in general terminal management to ensure compliance and accountability measures are met</li><li>Investigate all accidents</li><li>Report claims that require the insurance company to be involved</li><li>Manage Tank Compliance and any foreseeable tank issues.</li><li>Inspections and repairs for NEL and GLP facilities</li><li>Facilitate and perform inspections of all NEL and GLP vehicles</li><li>Maintaining facilities up to osha standards and updating them as OSHA changes</li><li>Monitoring GLP and NEL CSA scores working with pertaining departments for failing categories.</li><li>All DOT annual filings</li><li>Compliance with Samsara with all pertaining employees on all federal, local regulations</li><li>Facilitate Audits within Samsara for driver files, oversee improving how we use Samsara</li><li>Oversee RTA/TMT and how we use RTA/TMT for DOT regs and company costs</li><li>Perform safety meetings based off need and current issues per location</li><li>Investigate, report and monitor all accidents, spills for insurance</li><li>Maintain and update all aspects of the company to stay within our captive insurance requirements</li><li>Maintain and update our safety program, tank compliance program</li><li>Manage all employees of the safety department, driver trainer development</li></ul>",
