    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Join the #1 Senior Living company to work for in our area!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hiring Immediately!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Laundry Worker is responsible for performing laundry duties in accordance with established procedures to insure proper infection and disease control; implementing specific procedures and programs; coordinating work within the department as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for essential duties.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform laundry duties in accordance with established procedures to insure proper infection control.</li>\n <li>Collect, sort, washe, soak, and dry soiled laundry and linen; operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipments.</li>\n <li>Folds, stacks and delivers laundry, linen, and residents’ personal clothing.</li>\n <li>Inspect laundry and linen for needed repairs, etc.</li>\n <li>Implement procedures that reduce the loss of laundry items and participates in location of missing items.</li>\n <li>Handle contaminated linen according to infection control procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment and supplies in an orderly manner and keeps work area clean, safe, and sanitary; uses supplies and equipment according to directions; inventory supplies on an ongoing basis and notify appropriate personnel of needed supplies.</li>\n <li>Perform all essential housekeeping duties within the laundry area.</li>\n <li>Perform other required duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Related Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> No prior experience required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education or Degree Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> A high school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Wesley Enhanced Living </strong>is ranked by our employees as the <strong>top</strong> PA-based aging services company on the <strong>Fortune Best Workplaces in Aging Services list. </strong>We are certified as a <strong>Great Place to Work </strong>year after year.
