The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm. The successful individual will work closely with our business development team and other discipline leads in developing technical proposals and will take a proactive role in marketing/business development. This role provides the opportunity to help build and mentor a dedicated team of engineering professionals within a collaborative multidiscipline office. This candidate will be working directly with clients providing consulting services.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience in providing engineering for a variety of projects involving HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and coordinating multifaceted projects.           "text": "<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Perform the following functions:<ul><li>Design of HVAC and plumbing systems</li><li>Manage and design multiple concurrent projects</li><li>Strong ability to interpret technical drawings</li><li>Lead design team efforts</li><li>Manage project team for budget and schedule control</li><li>Develop fee and qualification-based proposals</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing and ensure design conforms with all applicable codes and client standards</li><li>Reading and preparing project drawings including ductwork plans, piping plans, sections, isometric piping drawings, and bills of materials.</li><li>Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using standard industry programs</li><li>Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment .</li><li>Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities .</li><li>Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint software preferred. Must understand database concepts. Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files.</li><li>Conduct marketing/business development activities</li><li>Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to travel</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degress (B.S) in Mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.</li></ul><ul><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering (required)</li><li>10 to 15 years of experience</li><li>Experience with Load Calculation Software</li><li>Experience with AutoCAD and Revit</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Project Management experience and/or certifications</li><li>Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams</li><li>Experience with energy modeling is a plus</li><li>Local AHJ experience and relationships is a plus</li><li>Active local industry involvement is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>This position is not eligible for sponsorship. </strong></p>",
