    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The DevOps / Platform Engineering role requires an experienced senior-level engineer with a proven track record of building scalable, high‑performance cloud infrastructure and deployment systems.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for modern DevOps practices and be familiar with recent trends in cloud, containers, and automation. We're looking for someone who works well within a team but is fully capable of independently delivering solutions of significant scope and complexity. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work quickly and effectively under time pressure are expected.</p>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Equities Technology DevOps / Platform Engineer responsible for:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supporting a major initiative to migrate a <strong>legacy on‑prem equities system to AWS</strong></li>\n <li>Designing, building, and maintaining <strong>cloud infrastructure</strong>, including compute, networking, IAM, and data services</li>\n <li>Developing <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows</li>\n <li>Containerizing applications and managing <strong>Kubernetes (EKS) clusters</strong> and <strong>Docker</strong> image pipelines</li>\n <li>Implementing <strong>ETL infrastructure and data movement workflows</strong> to support the cloud migration</li>\n <li>Building foundational systems for future <strong>BI tooling</strong> on top of cloud‑based databases</li>\n <li>Implementing and maintaining <strong>observability tooling</strong> (monitoring, logging, alerting) to ensure system reliability</li>\n <li>Partnering closely with Java development teams to enhance deployment performance and cloud readiness</li>\n <li>Day‑to‑day support and troubleshooting of platform infrastructure and deployment pipelines</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Skills and experience required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>5 or more years</strong> of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience in high‑intensity production environments</li>\n <li>Strong expertise with <strong>AWS</strong> (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)</li>\n <li>Deep experience with <strong>Kubernetes (EKS)</strong> and <strong>Docker</strong></li>\n <li>Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience building or supporting <strong>ETL pipelines</strong>, data orchestration, or cloud data movement workflows</li>\n <li>Hands‑on experience with <strong>observability</strong> platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch)</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency with automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (<strong>Terraform</strong> or CloudFormation)</li>\n <li>Comfort working alongside teams developing in <strong>Java</strong></li>\n <li>Linux/Unix OS experience</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Strong pluses:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience migrating on‑prem systems to <strong>AWS</strong></li>\n <li>Experience supporting <strong>BI / analytics tooling</strong> or large‑scale reporting platforms</li>\n <li>Strong networking fundamentals and familiarity with <strong>messaging technologies</strong> (e.g., Kafka)</li>\n <li>Experience with in‑memory datastores (Redis, Memcached)</li>\n <li>Financial services experience, particularly in equities, trading, or market data systems</li>\n <li>Working experience on <strong>Snowflake Platform</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $200,000 - $250,000.&nbsp;</p>",
