    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>General Function:</strong></p><p>This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. &nbsp;We are looking for skilled individuals to join our Y&rsquo;s new Personal Wellness Studio and share our commitment to providing exceptional care within the community. &nbsp; We are seeking individuals certified in Massage Therapy, Myofascial and Assisted Stretch. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Know How:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be at least 21 years old</li><li>Minimum of two years&rsquo; experience working in wellness programming</li><li>Current MA licensure and certification in approved wellness discipline</li><li>Strong customer service and sales skills</li><li>A level of professionalism and maturity that reflects the serious nature of aquatics safety and is in line with the YMCA&rsquo;s core values &amp; mission</li><li>Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people from all social and economic segments of the community. &nbsp;</li><li>Swim Lessons Instructor Trainer certification (within 6 months of hire)&nbsp;</li><li>Basic Life Support, Adult and Pediatric First Aid, and Emergency Use of Medical Oxygen (within 60 days of hire)</li><li>Child Abuse Prevention &ndash; pre-hire and Annual Refresher</li></ul><p><strong>The Y Will Provide:</strong></p><ul><li>Treatment Room/Locker room Access</li><li>Client marketing and recruitment support internally within the Y member base and externally</li><li>Online appointment and registration booking through the Y Welcome Center</li><li>Lotions, wipes and other consumables necessary for treatment</li><li>Laundry and laundry service</li><li>Professional cleaning service</li><li>Cost-share for the therapist and the Y at 75/25</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to walk, stand and sit for long periods.</li><li>Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling and walking.</li><li>Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate</li><li>Ability to stay calm and respond effectively in an emergency</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><br>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Principal Activities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provides direct wellness services to registered member and non-member participants</li><li>Works in partnership with Health &amp; Wellness Director to maximize bookings and client referrals</li><li>Performs wellness services in conjunction with licensing and YMCA standards</li><li>Maintains open communication with the Health &amp; Wellness Director and other staff about any facility or department issues, including concerns or problems relating to staffing, members, programs or facilities.</li><li>Promote membership enrollment and foster leadership development by encouraging members to become involved in committees and other volunteer roles. &nbsp;Provide a high level of member service to all and ensure that all comments and complaints are responded to in a timely manner (within 24 hours Max)</li><li>Attend staff and committee meetings as needed or directed by your supervisor. &nbsp;Demonstrate support for the YMCA by participating in special events.</li><li>Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. &nbsp;Complete incident and accident reports as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor. &nbsp;</li></ul></div></div></div>\n",
