Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing) Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers across multiple experience levels, aligning resources and expertise to support client and business needs. Partner closely with Sales leadership to manage account priorities, support strategic client relationships, and ensure exceptional service across key advertising partnerships. Establish operational rigor and accountability across the Account Management team, ensuring success metrics, service standards, and organizational goals are consistently achieved. Monitor the sales pipeline from pre-sale planning through campaign launch, delivery, and billing, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues to ensure client satisfaction. Develop and execute strategies that leverage Hearst's full portfolio of advertising products and capabilities to meet client objectives and maximize revenue opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Research, Product, Yield, and Operations teams to improve processes, evolve products, and enhance client outcomes. Oversee campaign execution and order management, ensuring alignment across media plans, insertion orders, billing requirements, contractual obligations, and campaign deliverables. Analyze campaign performance, delivery metrics, and post-sale insights to identify optimization opportunities, support renewals, and uncover incremental revenue opportunities. Qualifications (What We're Looking For) 5+ years of experience in media, sales planning, account management, advertising strategy, or related fields, with a track record of managing complex client programs and partnerships. 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing teams while driving performance through measurable goals and feedback. Strong understanding of digital advertising products, media planning, campaign execution, and client service best practices. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, present ideas clearly, and build trust with clients and internal partners. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across Sales, Marketing, Research, Product, Operations, and other cross-functional teams. Experience using advertising and business platforms such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, or similar systems. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Based in New York City with a hybrid work schedule.
