Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. </li>\n <li>Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. </li>\n <li>Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King’s Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement. </li>\n <li>Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.</li>\n <li>Monitor and manage driver’s qualification files to ensure all required documentation remains current and compliant.</li>\n <li>Track and verify Commercial Driver License (CDL) requirements, medical certifications, endorsements, and license status.</li>\n <li>Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and electronic logging device (ELD) records.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular audits of driver files, vehicle records, and transportation safety programs.</li>\n <li>Stay informed of regulatory changes and communicate updates to leadership and drivers.</li>\n <li>Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of transportation safety programs and policies.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and conduct safety meetings, training programs, and safety awareness initiatives.</li>\n <li>Conduct new hire orientations. </li>\n <li>Review, assign, and document information obtained through electronic logging device (ELD)</li>\n <li>Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation required by regulatory agencies.</li>\n <li>Assist in developing corrective action plans to address safety concerns and compliance deficiencies.</li>\n <li>Monitor safety performance indicators and identify trends requiring attention.</li>\n <li>Frequent travel to various sites where Transportation Operations are conducted</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>Essential Qualities for Success</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 1 year of Transportation Safety experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Transportation Systems.</li>\n <li>Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities. </li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, adapting schedules, and plans as necessary. </li>\n <li>Genuine enthusiasm for learning and personal growth, demonstrated through a track record of actively seeking opportunities for professional development. </li>\n <li>Ability to remain composed and focused during high-pressure situations, ensuring quality and timely outcomes. </li>\n</ul>\n<h1> </h1>\n<h1>Physical Requirements  </h1>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently<strong>. </strong></li>\n <li>Ability to navigate and access all facilities.</li>\n <li>Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.</li>\n <li>Close vision for computer-related activities. </li>\n</ul>\n<h1> </h1>\n<h1>Supervisory Responsibilities </h1>\n<p>None</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $44,000-$58,250 annualized and is bonus eligible.
