    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Acuren is currently recruiting for CR/DR Techs to support our operation in North Dakota. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial CR/DR Technician to join our non-destructive testing (NDT) team. The CR/DR Technician will operate computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR) equipment to inspect materials, components, and structures for defects in industrial settings. This role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in demanding environments such as manufacturing, aerospace, or energy sectors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Successful candidates must be able to provide verifiable documentation of classroom training hours and on-the-job training (OJT) hours in accordance with applicable certification standards.***We are currently seeking local candidates based in North Dakota or the surrounding area, or individuals who are open to relocating. While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, local availability or a willingness to relocate is preferred due to the nature of this role. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate CR and DR imaging equipment to perform non-destructive testing on welds, pipelines, castings, or other industrial components.</li>\n <li>Set up and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate detection of defects, cracks, or material inconsistencies.</li>\n <li>Interpret and analyze radiographic images to identify flaws in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS).</li>\n <li>Prepare and position components or materials for inspection, ensuring proper alignment and exposure settings.</li>\n <li>Maintain and troubleshoot CR/DR systems, reporting malfunctions or calibration issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.</li>\n <li>Adhere to radiation safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and radiation monitoring devices.</li>\n <li>Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and generate reports for quality assurance and compliance.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with NDT supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to ensure inspections meet project specifications.</li>\n <li>Follow strict safety and environmental guidelines, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials if applicable.</li>\n <li>Stay updated on advancements in CR/DR technology and NDT methodologies through training and certifications.</li>\n <li>Other work duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p> <strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with automated CR/DR systems or advanced NDT techniques (e.g., phased array, ultrasonic testing).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation software.</li>\n <li>Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and minor repairs.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in operating CR/DR systems, including familiarity with imaging software and analysis tools.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of radiation safety standards and industrial NDT codes (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM). </li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures.</li>\n <li>Local to ND or willing to relocate </li>\n <li>TWIC/IRRSP cards a plus </li>\n <li>40 Hour Radiation Safety Training </li>\n <li>Industrial Radiographer State Card/trainer status a plus </li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>EDUCATION: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical certification in Non-Destructive Testing, Radiographic Technology, or related field preferred. </li>\n <li>Level I or II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) per ASNT, NAS-410, or equivalent standards.</li>\n <li>Minimum 1-2 years of experience in industrial CR/DR or NDT (entry-level candidates with relevant certifications considered).</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Salary</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, and supplemental insurance</li>\n <li>401K Plan</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Working Conditions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance. </li>\n <li>Travel may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lifting/carrying heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds). </li>\n <li>Standing for extended periods of time.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Acuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
