You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Conducting daily inspections of general conditions for pit and waste dump slopes; Generate technical reports as required; Generate and update SOPs associated with ground control as required; Inspect and sign off on wall compliance and slope design; Prepare weekly ground control plans, monthly hazard maps, risk analysis and risk mitigation; Collection and compilation of geotechnical data via mapping, photogrammetry, core logging, and visual observation; Perform wall and bench reconciliation and wall control blast performance assessment; Plan and manage ground support and geotechnical hazard remediation projects; Review and interpret monitoring data and assist with development of monitoring systems on the site; Assist with development and updating geotechnical models; Perform geotechnical investigations and inspections; Confirm ground control plans are being followed in the field.
