    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Tacten is currently seeking <strong>IRATA Level 1 Technicians</strong> to support projects in the <strong>Atlantic Region (St. John’s and surrounding areas)</strong>. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment with strong opportunities for <strong>hands-on experience, growth, and skill development</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is <strong>project-based work starting in mid-June 2026 and extending through August 2026</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with a wide range of industrial maintenance, inspection, and repair activities while working at heights in rope access environments</li>\n <li>Safely utilize rope access techniques, specialized equipment, and hand/power tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with site procedures</li>\n <li>Support rescue preparedness and participate in emergency response and rescue operations as required</li>\n <li>Work collaboratively within a composite crew environment while assisting Journeypersons and senior technicians with daily project activities</li>\n <li>Maintain clear communication and coordinate with site personnel, supervisors, and other trades to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all safety standards and procedures</li>\n <li>Adhere to all IRATA, company, client, and site-specific safety requirements while promoting a strong safety-first culture on site</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Certifications & Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>IRATA Level 1 Certification</p></li>\n <li><p>Skilled Labourer Ticket considered an asset</p></li>\n <li><p>Safety certifications as required by client and provincial standards</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong work ethic and reliability</p></li>\n <li><p>Exceptional safety and quality awareness</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workers</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong problem-solving and time management skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Self-motivated with the ability to work at a high technical and performance level</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Valid driver’s license</p></li>\n <li><p>Clean driver’s abstract</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be local to St. John’s and surrounding area</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
