Successful Applications Engineers effectively balance time between customer and internal activities that demonstrate their knowledge of NI products and customer applications.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</strong></span></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n <li><span>Deliver test and measurement system design consulting for Aerospace/Defense customers in collaboration with the Sales team</span></li>\n <li><span>Create technology demonstrator systems and application notes in collaboration with Aerospace/Defense Business Manager and R&amp;D teams</span></li>\n <li><span>Capture Voice of the Customer feedback for R&amp;D team</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Who You Are:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>You balance planning with actions. You identify issues and map out a process to resolve them. You drill down to root causes, gather relevant information and share it with collaborators. You stay aligned with your goals and stay productive.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>For This Role, You Will Need:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>STEM-related bachelor’s degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electrical &amp; Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related fields)</span></li>\n <li><span>U.S. citizenship due to customer and project requirements</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to travel up to 20%</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Strong understanding of signals and systems, RF fundamentals, and data acquisition principles</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with measurement systems, instrumentation, and automated test workflows</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with programming languages used in test automation (LabVIEW, C/C++, or Python)</span></li>\n <li><span>Exposure to common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, or signal generators</span></li>\n <li><span>Hands-on experience (coursework, labs, internships, or projects) with electronic test systems</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0pt;  margin-top: 0pt\">At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
