    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Financial Analyst is responsible for assistance in completion of special financial projects, analyses, and feasibility studies. General duties include performing research, systems overviews, and direct observations of operational or financial functions of departments of the Clinic with the goal of operational efficiencies and accuracy.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Relationships</strong><br/>\nReports to the Director of Finance</p>\n\n<p><strong>Principal Responsibilities</strong><br/>\nProvide financial and analytical support for compensation accounting and forecasting process.<br/>\nCompile and analyze financial reports and identify discrepancies that require senior management attention.<br/>\nResearch and resolve business unit inquiries.<br/>\nPrepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested.<br/>\nResponsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance projects as assigned by management.<br/>\nProvide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of the results of the division's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.<br/>\nMaintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance during the planning process, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused on analytic review.<br/>\nUnderstand and facilitate the integration of business process, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company.<br/>\nFollow Accounting department policies and procedures.<br/>\nComply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.<br/>\nAdhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training &amp; accomplishments as required per policy.<br/>\nProvide excellent customer service and adhere to SC Way customer service philosophy.<br/>\nPerform other job duties as assigned.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Education/Experience</strong><br/>\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, advanced degree preferred. &nbsp;<br/>\nRequired to attend in-service classes or workshops relevant to job.<br/>\nMinimum two (2) years financial analysis experience required.<br/>\nMinimum two (2) to four (4) years accounting/analytical experience required.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong><br/>\nConfidentiality required.<br/>\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills required.<br/>\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.<br/>\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, managers, employees, business associates, and the general public.<br/>\nMust have extremely strong MS Excel skills.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Working Environment</strong><br/>\nThis job operates in a professional office environment.&nbsp;<br/>\nRoutinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.</p>\n\n<p><strong>PHI/Privacy Level</strong><br/>\nHIPAA2</p>\n",
