    "description": "<p>Job Title: Software Developer (Mid)</p>\n<p>Location: Redstone Arsenal</p>\n<p>Position Type: Full-Time</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Position Overview:<br>We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, testing, and enhancement of software applications in a secure and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational understanding of software development, user requirements, and systems integration, along with the ability to support application deployment, desktop design, and automation initiatives. This role requires an active Top Secret clearance.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, test, and debug new software applications or enhancements to existing software solutions.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with technical teams to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.</li>\n<li>Address and resolve customer-reported issues and implement user-suggested improvements.</li>\n<li>Assist with the creation and maintenance of software documentation and user manuals.</li>\n<li>Support desktop application design and integration with standard software packages.</li>\n<li>Implement security lockdowns, test applications, and ensure compliance with security protocols.</li>\n<li>Integrate applications with automated patching and deployment technologies.</li>\n<li>Automate the deployment and configuration of software applications and updates.</li>\n<li>Participate in documentation and user training related to software rollouts and updates.</li>\n<li>Maintain awareness of performance, quality, interface, and security requirements in all development efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development.</li>\n<li>Active Top Secret clearance is required.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.</li>\n<li>Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with secure coding practices and basic cybersecurity principles.</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with automated software deployment tools and patch management systems.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Windows desktop application development and configuration management.</li>\n<li>Exposure to DevSecOps or CI/CD environments.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of system documentation standards and user training best practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>CULTURE REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p>• Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
