This includes self-evaluating work performance, on a fair basis.</li>\r\n\t<li>Developing and adhering to written Standard Operating Procedures for all aspects of this position.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhering to departmental operating guidelines.</li>\r\n\t<li>Providing insightful and enthusiastic teamwork that generally creates positive attitudes and builds supportive morale.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintaining open communications and a harmonious working relationship with all personnel, but in particular with those involved in a reporting relationship. This includes attending weekly departmental meetings, as well as helping resolve interdepartmental conflicts.</li>\r\n\t<li>Participating in seminars to train all departmental personnel when needed. This includes learning product knowledge and procedural proficiencies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Conducting all operations within established budgets.</li>\r\n\t<li>Using and submitting all forms and reports in a complete, accurate, and timely basis. This includes respecting and maintaining proper filing systems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensuring your work areas are clean and presentable to customers and other visitors.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintaining a reasonable work environment and providing adequate safeguards for your work-related health and safety. This includes complying with all Federal, state, and local laws and regulations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintaining all external relationships consistent with the objectives, operating philosophy, and desired image of the company, re: customer relations, public relations, vendor relations, and community relations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintaining confidentiality on all corporate subjects so classified.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES:</strong>&nbsp;The following are performed by the Truck Driver:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Deliveries &amp; Pickups</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Operate trucks and vehicles</li>\r\n\t<li>Back trucks in a safe manner</li>\r\n\t<li>Receive item list, delivery schedule, release form, invoices, load tags from Shipping Supervisor</li>\r\n\t<li>Open and unbar trucks</li>\r\n\t<li>Operate Forklifts to load trucks as necessary if trained to do so (See Forklift Operator Job Description)</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure that trucks are loaded in</li>\r\n\t<li>Locate customers</li>\r\n\t<li>Make deliveries</li>\r\n\t<li>Unload trucks as required</li>\r\n\t<li>Reconcile load tag with Bill of Lading</li>\r\n\t<li>Receive a customer&#39;s signature</li>\r\n\t<li>When making deliveries after hours, always ensure that the customer will still be open and help will be available to unload the truck if necessary</li>\r\n\t<li>Make Pick Up and deliveries and perform inventory duties at the second warehouse</li>\r\n\t<li>Report location and status via truck radio on a regular basis</li>\r\n\t<li>Report when you arrive and when you leave each location, also report unusual delays or deviancies from schedule</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a daily vehicle log with location, time, and mileage entries made per stop as well as vehicle maintenance</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Customer Service</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Represent SupplyOne in a professional and considerate manner at all times</li>\r\n\t<li>Be professional in appearance, ensure that the truck remains in good repair</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Maintenance &amp; Safety</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Perform physical inventory counts as directed by the Shipping Supervisor</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain cleanliness of shipping area: sweep, dispose of trash, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain second warehouse when assigned to do so</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain vehicles in a safe manner, ensure that vehicle maintenance schedule is followed</li>\r\n\t<li>Make sure that vehicles are loaded in a safe manner, all loads are secured and doors closed</li>\r\n\t<li>Check oil daily, tires and fuel as needed</li>\r\n\t<li>Always operate a vehicle in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with all laws and posted speed limits</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license for duties performed</li>\r\n\t<li>Report accidents immediately via radio</li>\r\n\t<li>Render immediate medical assistance to others as necessary</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure that trucks are secured at night in the SupplyOne yard</li>\r\n\t<li>No smoking allowed in SupplyOne vehicles</li>\r\n\t<li>No unauthorized passengers</li>\r\n\t<li>No unauthorized drivers at any time</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
