This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly skilled <strong>Solutions Architect</strong> to serve as a senior technical contributor on our team. This role bridges the gap between engineering excellence and customer engagement. You will work closely with sales leadership and customers to understand mission requirements, demonstrate technical capabilities, produce Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documents, and architect solutions that align with customer needs. This is not a purely behind-the-desk engineering role—you will be customer-facing, articulate, and capable of translating complex technical solutions into clear, compelling narratives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Customer Engagement:</strong> Partner with the sales team and leadership in customer-facing meetings, discovery sessions, and technical demonstrations.</li>\n <li><strong>CONOPS Development:</strong> Gather requirements from stakeholders and produce comprehensive Concept of Operations documents that clearly articulate proposed solutions, operational workflows, and system architectures.</li>\n <li><strong>Solution Design:</strong> Architect end-to-end technical solutions tailored to customer environments, constraints, and objectives.</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Demonstrations:</strong> Build and deliver live demos and proof-of-concept environments that showcase platform capabilities and value propositions.</li>\n <li><strong>Pre-Sales Support:</strong> Serve as the primary technical resource during the sales cycle—answering technical questions, addressing concerns, and building customer confidence.</li>\n <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Work with engineering, product, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with organizational capabilities.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation & Artifacts:</strong> Produce high-quality technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration plans, CONOPS and white papers as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>10+ years</strong> of experience in a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Senior Technical Consultant role.</li>\n <li><strong>Demonstrated experience producing CONOPS</strong>, technical proposals, or similar operational planning documents.</li>\n <li><strong>Strong experience with cloud infrastructure platforms</strong>, specifically:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Amazon Web Services (AWS)</li>\n  <li>Microsoft Azure</li>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Excellent communication and presentation skills</strong> — ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite and mission stakeholders.</li>\n <li><strong>Experience in customer-facing or pre-sales technical roles</strong> with a track record of supporting successful engagements.</li>\n <li><strong>Strong understanding of networking, security, compute, and storage</strong> concepts in cloud and hybrid environments.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple engagements simultaneously, and adapt to shifting priorities.</li>\n <li>Strong Understand of AI concepts</li>\n <li>Must have an active governemnet issued clearance with poly</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with <strong>Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</strong> tools, including:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li><strong>Terraform</strong></li>\n  <li><strong>Packer</strong></li>\n </ul>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).</li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>containerization and orchestration</strong> technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, AKS).</li>\n <li>Relevant cloud certifications such as:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)</li>\n  <li>Azure Solutions Architect Expert</li>\n  <li>HashiCorp Terraform Associate</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Experience working in <strong>government, defense, or regulated industries</strong> (familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, ITAR, or similar frameworks is a plus).</li>\n <li>Understanding of <strong>zero trust architecture</strong> principles and modern cybersecurity frameworks.</li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>scripting and automation</strong> (Python, Bash, PowerShell).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>data analytics, AI/ML platforms, or mission-specific tooling</strong> relevant to the customer base.</li>\n <li>Bachelor Degree in related technical competency.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About SilverEdge</h2>\n<p>SilverEdge Government Solutions was founded on the belief that nurturing talent and collaborating closely with our customers enables us to think big and deliver the best for our country.
