    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Manager</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Wellington | Prime Property Group</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Prime Property Group is looking for an experienced and practical Project Manager to join our Wellington team and help deliver a growing pipeline of commercial, hotel, residential and civil property development projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong site management experience who also understands the wider commercial and project management side of construction delivery. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable being on site, coordinating trades, driving programmes, solving day-to-day construction issues, and keeping projects moving, while also managing budgets, procurement, consultants, reporting, and overall project outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Prime Property Group is a privately owned business with a diverse portfolio spanning residential developments, commercial buildings, hotels, industrial and retail properties. We take a long-term approach to development and delivery, with a strong focus on quality, relationships, and practical decision-making.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You’ll be involved across all stages of project delivery, from early planning and feasibility through to construction and final handover. The role requires someone who can confidently manage subcontractors and consultants, maintain strong site presence, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing projects from planning through to completion</li>\n<li>Coordinating trades, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers</li>\n<li>Maintaining strong on-site oversight and programme management</li>\n<li>Driving construction progress and resolving site issues proactively</li>\n<li>Managing procurement, budgets, variations, and project reporting</li>\n<li>Running site meetings and coordinating project communications</li>\n<li>Ensuring quality, compliance, and health &amp; safety standards are maintained</li>\n<li>Working closely with leadership on delivery strategy and project performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have experience in both site management and construction project management, along with a strong understanding of commercial &amp; residential construction methodologies. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A trade background, particularly carpentry or hands-on construction experience, would be highly valued. You’ll need to be organised, commercially aware, practical in your approach, and confident leading teams on site.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being actively involved in projects rather than sitting behind a desk full-time.
