Our nationally recognized team of ophthalmologists has extensive clinical experience in a wide range of ocular services, including MSP-covered exams and surgeries, as well as private lens surgeries and LASIK.</p>\n<p>We are looking for an<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">energetic and detail-oriented individual</span><span> </span>to join our dynamic clinic and surgical centre!</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greeting patients in person, over the phone, and via email in a professional and informative manner</li>\n<li>Billing, invoicing, and receiving payments</li>\n<li>Booking and coordinating patient appointments</li>\n<li>Providing attentive care and support to physicians and patients</li>\n<li>Tracking patient lab results and scheduling follow-ups</li>\n<li>Giving patients detailed instructions for lab tests</li>\n<li>Using the Accuro EMR system</li>\n<li>Working collaboratively with physicians and colleagues</li>\n<li>Supporting the development and implementation of clinic systems and processes</li>\n<li>Assisting physicians with their daily requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ophthalmic Assistant Experience (an asset, but training provided for the right candidate):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visual Fields</li>\n<li>OCTs</li>\n<li>Auto-refractions</li>\n<li>Non-contact Tonometer</li>\n<li>Doctor workups</li>\n<li>Cataract measurements</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you don’t have direct experience, a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly on the job</span><span> </span>are essential.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation:</span><span> </span>$19–$23 per hour<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span><span> Abbotsford, but must be willing to travel on occasion to our sister site in Chilliwack.</span></p>",
