  "externalDescription": " Position Description: Partner with xPL fabrication facility (“plant”) leadership and superintendents to execute safe, high-quality, and efficient production operations in alignment with plant goals and customer requirements. Lead daily production planning, workflow coordination, and team development for schedule adherence, maximize throughput, and establish zero-incident culture. Serve as key resource to engage teams to deliver consistent, reliable, and on-time fabrication output. Essential Duties Key Responsibilities: Lead, direct, and manage daily production activities of fabrication superintendents and instill adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. /li> Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and material resources to meet established production schedules and optimize workflow. /li> Drive proactive safety engagement in partnership with Safety team, including daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and incident prevention activities. /li> Collaborate with xPL Quality Control (QC) team to maintain first-pass quality and prevent rework, validating production meets specifications and customer requirements. /li> Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, including throughput, cycle time, downtime, and resource utilization; implement corrective actions to support performance. /li> Deliver and maintain communication with plant leadership to align short-term production needs with long-term capacity planning and capital investment strategies. /li> Support Superintendent team development through coaching, training, and performance management; foster culture of accountability and teamwork. /li> Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to resolve production constraints and maintain operational flow. /li> Oversee clean and organized production areas for compliance with safety and environmental regulations. /li> Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workflow efficiency, equipment utilization, and process standardization. /li> Facilitate pre-shift planning meetings with superintendents to review daily objectives, safety priorities, and quality expectations. /li> Participate in budget planning and cost control efforts related to production operations. /li> Support onboarding and training of new employees to ensure skill readiness and adherence to company standards. /li> Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
