Uniquely positioned in our ability to produce large central systems for an entire plant down to individual filters for a single cutting machine on the floor, our proprietary filtration and cooling technologies come second to none.</p><p>The Welder (Pipe Welder) will fabricate a wide variety of small to large sheet metal and structural steel products including guards, chutes, covers, conveyors, tanks, frames, and flumes constructed of material ranging from 14 gauge to &frac14;&rdquo; carbon steel plate and stainless steel.</p><p><strong>Role and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>While operating a MIG welding machine, regulate current and voltage for proper fusion of metals, pressures, and flow of gas or other materials</li><li>Select materials and gauge of metal</li><li>Work from engineering drawings, layouts, sketches, samples, prototypes, or verbal instructions concerning general requirements</li><li>Use various hand power tools and hand tools to finish product</li><li>Grind out slag, burrs, and sharp edges using portable grinder or sander</li><li>Inspect and mark part number on finished parts</li><li>Operate forklift or overhead crane to move parts and materials</li><li>Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition</li><li>Record daily attendance and production information on timekeeping system</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Between 2 and 4 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship training in MIG welding and sheet metal fabrication</li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawing, routings, and other written instruction</li><li>Knowledge of metal fabrication methods, processes, and equipment</li><li>An understanding of material characteristics as related to the fabrication processes of cutting, bending, rolling, and welding</li><li>Working knowledge of mathematics for metal fabrication, equipment setup, and use including fractions and decimal equivalent</li><li>Frequently push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs</li><li>Fork Lift Operator Certification</li><li>Able to work Second Shift from 3:15pm to 11:45pm CST</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement:</strong> Komline is an EEO Employer- M/F/Vets/Disabled</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>This position has openings on 1st shift, which is 5:00am - 1:30pm CST, or 2nd shift welding openings, which is 3:15pm - 11:45pm CST (includes 30 minute break)",
