Reporting to the <strong>Regional Controller</strong>, you will lead critical month end and year end close activities, support financial reporting and analysis, and help drive process improvements across the accounting function. This role is ideal for a technically strong accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of key financial processes. Our team operates with curiosity, humility, accountability and entrepreneurial spirit to deliver on our vision and mission.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">What you will do:</span></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Month-End &amp; Year-End Close</u></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Own and drive the full month-end close process, ensuring completion within established timelines</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries including accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Record and maintain fixed asset entries, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare monthly cash flow statements and forecasts; monitor net working capital trends</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>General Ledger &amp; Transactional Accounting</u></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain the integrity of the general ledger; research and resolve discrepancies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform cash and bank reconciliations; support AP and AR functions as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reconcile and report intercompany receivables and payables</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare quarterly and annual tax filings and returns (e.g., Ohio CAT and other applicable state/local filings)</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>Financial Reporting, Analytics, Compliance &amp; Special Projects</u></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research and analyze budget-to-actual variances; prepare executive-level results summaries and financial commentary for senior leadership</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support the external audit process; prepare requested schedules, reconciliations, and documentation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead or support process improvement initiatives within the accounting department</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Bring:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3 plus years of progressive accounting experience; Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm experience strongly preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deep understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience supporting internal and external financial audits; solid understanding of cash flow and networking capital</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated experience owning month-end close and preparing complex journal entries independently</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data modeling; strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite &middot; Proficiency with ERP/general ledger accounting software (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, or similar)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement; ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple geographies</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At CSafe, we foster an exciting, collaborative, and inclusive work environment that promotes both personal and professional growth.
