    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Relationship Bankers are responsible for identifying customer needs and matching them with the appropriate bank products and services to enhance a current or prospective customer’s satisfaction, loyalty, and financial well-being.  Utilizing proactive sales/service efforts coupled with the recognition of referral opportunities, Relationship Bankers will deepen customer relationships while also processing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Identify customer needs and make the appropriate referrals through proactive sales/service efforts </li>\n <li>Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, cash management services, etc.</li>\n <li>Continually safeguard the bank’s assets and security of the working environment while processing transactions accurately (deposits and withdrawals for transaction accounts, collection items, wire transfers, credit card transactions, and loan payments)</li>\n <li>Maintain and balance a cash drawer. Abundant cash handling is expected</li>\n <li>Open, close, and maintenance accounts</li>\n <li>Must achieve sales and referral goals quarterly while providing excellent customer service and utilizing opportunities to transform service into sales</li>\n <li>Making outreach calls to customers and/or prospects</li>\n <li>Meet and greet public in a professional manner that reinforces Trustmark’s service standards</li>\n <li>All work must be performed within the bank’s guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards of performance</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent is required</li>\n <li>Ability to meet sales goals in a retail environment</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal technology systems to perform work tasks</li>\n <li>Understanding of basic math concepts and principles</li>\n <li>Must pass appropriate assessment tests</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written</li>\n <li>Time management skills</li>\n <li>Detail oriented – must be able to process transactions accurately and efficiently</li>\n <li>Strong and exceptional customer service and sales skills</li>\n <li>Ability to display professional appearance and mannerisms</li>\n <li>Experience in maintaining and balancing a cash drawer preferred</li>\n <li>Preferred twelve (12) months sales experience </li>\n <li>Preferred twelve (12) months face-to-face customer service experience</li>\n <li>Ability to handle some daily lifting of boxed or bagged coins required (weight may vary)</li>\n</ul>",
