Routinely uses acquired knowledge, theory, research, and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations. </li>\n <li>Is able to apply the Synergy Model for Care in practice and use this knowledge to personalize care for each patient/family. </li>\n <li>Serves as a preceptor and resource to colleagues (such as less experienced nurses) and strong advocate for patients/families. </li>\n <li>Maintains courteous and professional behavior at all times. Assesses assigned patients; reviews medical history, admitting diagnosis, physician's orders, nursing history, and evaluation of diagnostic data. </li>\n <li>Interviews patient and family to determine patient needs; communicates these to interdisciplinary health care team members as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Determines appropriate nursing interventions for identified problems, symptoms, behavioral changes. Identifies appropriate standards of care and/or collaborative clinical pathways to guide the plan of care; revises as appropriate. </li>\n <li>Administers direct nursing care to assigned patients based on priorities and timeframes. Evaluates patients' responses to delivery of nursing care and patient education for self-care.</li>\n <li>Keeps patients and family up to date on progress. Develops, conducts and evaluates patient and family education in discussing plan of care. </li>\n <li>Teaches family and patient to perform specific procedures; documents activities. When required explains rational and/or principles behind the physiology or consequences of treatments. </li>\n <li>Determines and mobilizes equipment and resources necessary for successful patient care; seeks assistance in completing nursing interventions. </li>\n <li>Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate. </li>\n <li>Participate in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments. </li>\n <li>Following established charting procedures, documents all aspects of patient care to show progress or changes in patient's condition. </li>\n <li>Collaborates with members of the health care team to determine patient needs and needs of significant others in planning the treatment. </li>\n <li>Attends scheduled staff meetings. Provides clinical guidance to students and ancillary staff. Demonstrates competency in all new equipment and procedures. Serves on committees. Performs other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, </li>\n <li>5 years of recent and relevant nursing experience in specialty area. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia. </li>\n <li>BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, FHM (relevant to role) required. Professional certification in at least 1 relevant specialty area required. </li>\n <li>Completion of professional certification in relevant specialty area required within 1 year of employment with ESP.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY! ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks.
