We are offering <strong>full‑time, contract positions</strong> throughout the summer months, providing hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.</p><p><strong>Contract Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Contract duration: May – August 21</strong></li><li><strong>Starting rate:</strong> <strong>$22.25/hour</strong><strong> (</strong><strong>Increase:</strong> <strong>$22.50/hour after 3 months)</strong></li><li><strong>Afternoon shift premium:</strong> <strong>+$1.00/hour</strong></li><li><strong>Hours: 40–48 hours per week</strong></li><li><strong>Overtime: Paid after 42 hours</strong></li><li><strong>Vacation pay – 4% paid out on each cheque</strong></li><li><strong>Schedule- two‑week rotating shift schedule </strong><ul><li><strong>Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM</strong></li><li><strong>Afternoon Shift: 3:45 PM – 1:15 AM</strong></li></ul></li><li><strong>Overtime &amp; Saturday shifts: May be required based on business needs</strong></li></ul><p><strong>🏭</strong><strong> Job Description</strong></p><p>As a Summer Student Production Associate, you will support daily production and manufacturing operations, working collaboratively to meet quality, safety, and performance targets.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities Include:</strong></p><ul><li>Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to meet quality standards and specifications</li><li>Review work orders and prepare materials for production</li><li>Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and automated machinery</li><li>Inspect finished products and report defects or quality concerns</li><li>Prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and loading</li><li>Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, and efficiency</li><li>Support production goals and team performance targets</li><li>Follow leadership direction and verify quality through measurement</li><li>Adhere strictly to safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)</li></ul><p>Work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team</p><p><strong>✅</strong><strong> What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Currently enrolled in a <strong>college or university program</strong></li><li>Available to work <strong>full‑time for the entire contract period</strong></li><li>Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn</li><li>Comfortable working in a <strong>physically active production environment</strong></li></ul>",
