In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. As part of a fast-paced environment, you’ll have the chance to build valuable skills, develop professionally, and contribute to the success of a respected Canadian energy company.
We are recruiting for multiple positions, and the successful candidates will work at our Central Distribution Center located in Nisku, Alberta, located just 4.2KM from Edmonton city limits.
Job location: Nisku, Alberta
Shift schedule:
Shift A: 5 x 2 - Monday – Friday (10:30AM-6:30PM)
Shift B: 4 x 3 – Tuesday – Friday (8:30AM- 6:30PM)
Shift C: 4 x 3 – Tuesday – Friday (12:00PM- 10:00PM)
Shift D: 8 x 6 – Wednesday – Wednesday (8:30AM- 6:30PM)
Safety sensitive position: Yes
Application deadline: December 31, 2026 (ongoing)
Please Note: This is a temporary 12-month position with a possibility of long-term extension/conversion.
Key Accontabilities:
Inventory management by accurately receiving, storing, and managing inventory while maintaining precise records of stock levels, product movement, and shipments
Warehouse organization by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while ensuring items are stored correctly to optimize space and ease of access
Order fulfillment through picking and packing products for shipment according to orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates. Utilize and maintain the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Mill Test Reports (MTR)
Equipment handling by operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and effectively
Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure that all warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting or exceeding performance targets
What You Bring to the Role:
3+ years of warehouse or inventory experience within any industry (retail, transportation, commercial, shipping, courier, etc.)
3+ years of experience in forklift operation (Counterbalance, Narrow Aisle, Order Picker) and proficiency in warehouse management systems (E1, Maximo, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent required; Parts or Materials Technician Apprentice/Journeyman Certification considered an asset
Experience with transportation management system (Oracle, 3GTMS, SAP, etc.) considered an asset
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) considered an asset
