This role provides excellent opportunities to develop specialized skills in industrial automation, PLCs, and network systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Electronic Systems Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with installation, testing, and maintenance of PLC and motion control systems.</li>\n <li>Support troubleshooting of industrial electronic equipment with support from supervision.</li>\n <li>Help maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.</li>\n <li>Assist with installation of communication cables, power distribution cables, and wiring.</li>\n <li>Work with the team to assemble and disassemble equipment while following established procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Control Systems & Monitoring</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Respond to alarms and out-of-parameter readings with guidance.</li>\n <li>Review control logic, check set points, and test electrical wiring.</li>\n <li>Monitor various systems, such as chemical tanks and boiler systems.</li>\n <li>Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks (filters, water tanks, scale calibration, label systems).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Project Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with production start-up and shut-down activities.</li>\n <li>Support R&D testing activities including wiring, unwiring, and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Participate in continuous improvement projects.</li>\n <li>Work with engineers on tests and pilot runs for new products and processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Network & IT Systems</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with computer systems, network equipment, and industrial LANs.</li>\n <li>Support security systems and video surveillance systems.</li>\n <li>Help maintain servers and network infrastructure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation & Communication</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Effectively maintain required performance and maintenance records.</li>\n <li>Document electronic and electrical equipment activities.</li>\n <li>Communicate with Systems Engineering management on projects and issues.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with maintenance and electromechanical teams as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.</li>\n <li>Must have regular and punctual attendance.</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends as needed.</li>\n <li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and electrical code.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of electronic principles and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Foundational knowledge of PLCs and control systems.</li>\n <li>General computer knowledge and proficiency.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with electrical testing equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Demonstrated Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analytical skills to assist with troubleshooting precision equipment.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail in following procedures and documentation.</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn complex electronic and control systems.</li>\n <li>Team-oriented with collaborative approach.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently.</li>\n <li>Safety-focused mindset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing, twisting, reaching, bending, and lifting.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 60lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> 1+ years of electrical work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred).<strong> </strong>Exposure to PLCs, automation, or control systems. Entry-level candidates with strong electronics background will be considered.</p>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>2-year vocational/technical school in automation, electrical, electronics, or related field (highly preferred). Relevant technical certifications or military training welcomed.</p>\n<p><strong>Department:   </strong>Systems Engineering.</p>",
