As a <strong>Clinical Quality Specialist (CQS)</strong>, you’ll combine direct patient care with leadership in <strong>clinical informatics, quality improvement, and performance improvement initiatives</strong>. Based at our Durham Primary Care practice next to our Corporate Office, this hybrid role is ideal for a clinician who is energized by innovation, collaboration, and the chance to help shape how high-quality care is delivered across an independent organization.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Clinical Care:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients of all ages</li>\n <li>Perform assessments, diagnose conditions, and implement treatment plans</li>\n <li>Order and interpret labs and diagnostic imaging</li>\n <li>Prescribe medications and perform procedures</li>\n <li>Promote preventive care and wellness</li>\n <li>Coordinate specialty referrals as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clinical Quality & Informatics Leadership:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize clinical data and informatics tools to drive performance improvement</li>\n <li>Improve workflow processes, including EHR (Epic) optimization</li>\n <li>Serve on internal committees and contribute to development of clinical resources</li>\n <li>Lead provider education and coding optimization efforts</li>\n <li>Support value-based care and quality improvement initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of accredited MSN or DNP Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program for adults</li>\n <li>Graduate of ARC accredited Physician Assistant program.
