The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of aerospace quality standards, and proficiency in utilizing a variety of precision measuring tools.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Utilize a range of precision measuring tools to assess dimensions, tolerances, and alignments of parts, ensuring they meet engineering drawings and requirements.</li><li>Perform inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process, from raw materials to final assembly, to identify defects or deviations.</li><li>Record and document inspection results, maintaining accurate and organized records of measurements, observations, and findings.</li><li>Collaborate with manager and production teams to address quality-related concerns and provide input for continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Conduct visual inspections to identify surface defects, anomalies, and irregularities, ensuring components meet cosmetic and visual standards.</li><li>Use coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other advanced metrology equipment to inspect complex geometric features and three-dimensional components.</li><li>Ensure proper torque application using torque wrenches during assembly, preventing under-tightening and over-tightening.</li><li>Analyze and interpret measurement data to make informed decisions regarding component acceptance or rejection.</li><li>Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in aerospace manufacturing.</li></ol><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in quality assurance or aerospace technology is preferred.</li><li>Proven experience as an aerospace quality inspector or in a similar role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.</li><li>Proficiency in using a variety of precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, CMM, and more.</li><li>Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&amp;T).</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make accurate judgments based on measurement data.</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve quality issues.</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols and practices within aerospace manufacturing environments.</li><li>Computer proficiency, including experience with digital readout (DRO) systems and basic data entry.</li><li>Certification or training in quality inspection methods and tools is a plus.</li></ol><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</p><p>Monday through Thursday (4, 10-hour days)</p><p>6:00AM - 4:30PM</p><p>Possible OT on Friday and/or Saturday as production demands require</p><p>$19-23/hr DOE</p><p><strong><u>ITAR REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p><p>To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.&nbsp;</p><p>DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.&nbsp;</p><p>DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee&rsquo;s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization via E-Verify.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
