    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>PRN weekdays and weekends 8-4:30.</p> \n<p>The Department of Rehab Medicine seeks a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient team. Be a part of a robust rehab team in a leading healthcare facility, and assist patients in developing, improving, and recovering the necessary skills needed to perform their daily activities after surgery, illness, or injury. The position serves pediatrics to geriatrics and supports numerous service lines. Prior hospital experience is preferred, but all are encouraged to apply.</p>\n<p>The position is per diem. Hours are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (potentially weekdays and weekends). Shift differentials are available for weekend, and certain holidays. </p>\n<p>Our Ideal candidate<strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Has a strong desire to help patients, and to work in a hospital </li>\n <li>A desire to be a part of a team, but capable of working independently at times</li>\n <li>Good bedside manner</li>\n <li>Dependability</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Good time management skills to manage own his/her caseload.</li>\n <li>Good verbal/written communication</li>\n <li>Physical strength, as job requires assisting Pt with completing ADLs and functional mobility.</li>\n <li>Desire for continued learning, and professional development </li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li> Examines, evaluates, determines prognosis, and provides intervention. Reports findings to other health care team members. </li> \n<li> Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching.</li> \n<li> Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, etc.</li> \n<li> Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits.</li> \n<li> Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings.</li> \n<li> Delegates tasks to support personnel.</li> \n<li> Performs other duties as required or assigned.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Licensure/Certifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Licensed Occupational Therapist with NH eligibility</li> \n <li> BLS certification required</li> \n <li> Certified Occupational Therapist (OTR) required at hire, renewal optional.</li>\n</ul>",
