This role provides hands-on experience managing server environments, monitoring performance, while supporting system reliability and security.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Administer and maintain Linux servers (installation, configuration, patching)</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Monitor system performance and ensure up-time and security</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Troubleshoot server-related issues and implement solutions to manage those issues</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Manage backups, recovery processes, and system updates</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Working knowledge of Linux systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar)</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Understanding of server administration concepts and best practices</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Experience with virtualization or cloud platforms (Azure preferred)</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Basic scripting (Bash)</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Knowledge of system security best practices</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">This role is in-person and onsite.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px;\">*The above-noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give the applicant a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of this position.
